Days of '47 KSL Parade, 9 a.m. to noon, beginning at Salt Lake City's Main Street and South Temple, and ending at Liberty Park, 900 S. 500 East. Floats, bands, horses, clowns and drill teams.
* Native American Celebration in the Park, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Liberty Park, Salt Lake City. Intertribal powwow, arts and crafts booths, food, rides, multicultural entertainment and fireworks. Free. Call 801-533-9503.
* Liberty Park's Tracy Aviary has free admission all day with trainer talks and educational walk 'n' talks.
