Goal 365 brand new items in 365 Days

How is your New Years resolution going? Mine is going better than I hoped. I want to "buy" for free or get free samples one for each day of the year. It's like having a birthday every day. I am almost three months into this year and using newspaper coupons, printable coupons, store coupons, rebates and store sales it is almost easy to make money and get free items shopping every day. I am happy to say I am ahead of my goal right now. I will keep blogging my grocery and household deals.

Great free samples

This is one of my favorite free sample sites. Yes, you have to register. However, P&G has products we can all use and there are not surveys. Today I got free diapers and Tide. Yesterday I got a free sample of Olay body wash. If you are hesitant to do free samples. This might be worth your time. You can still get these free samples and more until March 31.

Milk Deals

It is hard to find milk coupons. I found a way to buy milk that doesn't need coupons and is still about $1 a gallon of milk. When milk is on sale people buy it and not as much of the more expensive milks. So I buy the more expensive milk that is marked down. This week at Smith's Food and Drug their milk is on sale for $2. Last week it was three for five dollars. A brand not on sale was marked for $1.09 it still had five days before the sale by date and milk is good for a while after the sale by date depending on how it is stored. I saved .57 a gallon more than the sale price of milk. This week with milk even more expensive we can save even more.

Target has the Monopoly board game on sale for $7 plus you can use the five dollar Monopoly board game coupon SS 3/21 that makes it $2, WOW! They have had a printable coupon for $5 off Monopoly and other game coupons here if you did not get last Sunday's newspaper.

Here is a internet game that might win you something. You have to register, if you have already registered your smith's card that counts. Then you shoot a ball in the hoop, at least that is the goal. If you make a basket you win. There are 80,000 prizes so good luck.

This week's grocery list

I am somewhat new to shopping at Walgreen's and Rite Aid on a regular basis. This week I not only found cheep holiday deals there but also everyday foods. I got six bags of groceries between these two stores and spent less than $9. Rite Aid has coupons in their ad for two dollars off three bags of candy. You can also use the manufacturer's coupon in the paper last Sunday. The candy is already on sale for $1.99 so that is three bags of candy for $1.97 ($4 off) .65 a bag, WOW! I also bought cereal, dish soap, and gum that let me use a $3 off $15 coupon that I told you about earlier.

all for less than $7 using coupons in the Sunday paper and Rite Aid coupons.

I got three bags of groceries for $2. I even got flour using the coupon in the ad and here. The bags were even oven 10 lbs.

For me saving money at the grocery store includes a stop at the drugstore.
